The Dilemma ( not the movie )

I move things around alot in our house, i like to switch things up... but now i don't know what to do with this wall..
I was thinking old windows... but this room already has lots of windows.. would that look weird?
or
i could win the lotto and buy a huge $1,000,00,000,000,000 way cool picture
I have no idea... Im loosing all of my creative juices...
I want something rustic antique......

Cafe Rio-Barbacoa Pork

If heaven doesn't have a cafe rio..... well... i know how to make this now, so i still want to go to heaven..

  • One 5-6 lb. pork roast ( mine was tooele county stock show bought, halla)
  • 1 liter Dr. Peppa-(next time im gunna try Pepsi, since it runs threw my veins, just no diet soda, and of course no coke, cause it's nasty!)
  • 1 cup brown sugar ( an overflowning cup, cause it deserves that goodness)
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 7 oz. can of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  • 6 oz. red taco sauce
  • 1 tsp ground/dry mustard
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Since Cafe Rio is of the devil and only serves Tamales on Thursdays ( I learned this the hard way and got yelled at by grandma Cafe Rio, boy did she make me feel like a doof) I make a bunch to get me through the other 6 days, then put the rest on a CORN tortilla with onions and cilantro, because that IS what goodness is. the end.

Travelers Rest, South Carolina

My bestest buddy, Caitlin and I just got back from a trip to South Carolina.
Her  Our mom just moved there and we needed to see her.

Caitlin and I have been besties since second grade. How did we meet you ask?
well any one who has met us would tell you we are two of a kind, soul sister; both being geminis and all. Every moment we have together has been a memorable one. So, the answer to your question above suits us, almost too well; We were in the same second grade class (Mrs. Cox) and Caitlin and I had the same love for rugrats and the same puffy puffed bangs... but that still isn't what did it.
in short, Caitlin made a fart noise, and I was the only one that laughed... the rest is history.
So, Clearly we were excited about this trip, and were in dyer need of it.
We left Early on Sep. 12, annoying every one on every plane from here to Houston, to Greenville and back, with our loud high pitch siamese laughs, and weird outrageousness. Luckily for us, we sat next to Pilot Dan, and even luckier, we didn't annoy him, he said we were in the Top 3 of "most INTERESTING people" he's ever met/flown with. For if it hadn't been for him, we would have gotten lost in that gigantic airport and missed our connecting flight to our beloved mother.
We landed in Greenville with a warm welcome from mama julie and spent the rest of our trip giggling, shopping, laughing, shopping, eating, giggling, and ooo'ing and ahh'ing over Julias perfect, amazing, comfy, cozy sweet smelling home.

Its about time....

your probably thinking to yourself
"bria, it's september...."
exactly! it's september!!! that means Halloween is next month!
Halloween is my favorite hallow-day!
just like my birthday, that i celebrate for a week, since one day is just not enough. I like to prep for halloween starting in September.
while decorating today, I was excited!
but a little nervous, for mike to get home and what he would say...
and maybe do....(to me)

I start out with a little, and build from there.
This will be a long two months for Mike, especially cause he is scared of Spiders.
