*21 Son*

This Sunday, May 29th
I, Bria June Faulkner will be 21
It's a crazy feeling!
I've been looking forward to this day for oh so very long
I feel like 21 is the age where you Really become an adult.
but my moto is
" growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional"
so most likely there will be a recreation of this picture above.
over the years i've had some pretty legit birthdays.
when i was younger i always wanted treasure hunts for my birthday. all across the farm. I love exploring the farm so of course thats what i wanted for my birthday.
sadly though for a few years, there was always something bad that happened
some incidences that i can recall where
* Kelsey Elsholz tripping on the hunt and cutting up her knees
and
* Rylee, Kylee and Monique getting in a big fight

some of the better times were
*truth or dare, wrestling matches, and other secretive times
"what happens in the bunk house stays in the bunk house"
(giving sarah x-lax)
*Renting out the pool
and of course the best present ever
*graduating on my birthday!

The agenda for the festavus of what im calling "21 son"
would be as follows

First Mike and I are driving to our cabin in Liberty, called Liberty
 (our family is real creative)
We are going to stay two nights there since it is close too

Gray Cliff Lodge, where my Grandpa is taking the Whole family for dinner

Then it's off to the cabin in Wyo.
I have no bad memories at the cabin!
even every time i've been thrown off a horse, crashed on four-wheelers, snow mobiles and even when we couldn't find the 5x5 deer i shot, it's always been a good time, filled with laughs.

speaking of laughs.
if you were to ask any one in our family
(even the sore losers)
everyone would say the cabin is there favorite spot to stay up until 4 playing cards.
we eat, we laugh, and we laugh some more, we look at eachothers cards, and towards 1 or 2 we all get pretty delusional and crazy.
thats when it gets fun, and stinky (tonya)

Mike has a cute horse ride and picnic planned for the two of us

The one present i know im getting is some goats!
My dad has always been pretty legit in the present wrapping/giving department!
he said he would tie a bow around them for me, but they'd probably eat it before i get to see.

next! CHILI DOGS! Since im pretty much the only one that really loves these, we will have them saturday night before the picky sibs get there

This one is hopeful wishing. since i was little i've loved sunflowers.
i won't lie, i'd really like some :)

vicious circle

why is it that every day can become laundry day?
and to think there is only two people living in this house.
don't get me wrong, i love taking care of things around the house, but my sweet husband has a couple pet peeves that seem to make our pile become a mountain in a flash
#1 Won't wear new clothes unless they've been washed once or even twice first
#2 Won't wear the same pants twice until they've been washed in between
( maybe this one will make me sound like a slob, but i'll wear clothes a couple times before i wash them. then again, maybe it doesn't make me sound like a slob, maybe i'm just a lot more clean and less sweaty then the rest of you.)

Iphone4 Vs. MacNotebook

 The Battle has begun.
my poor laptop has been collecting dust this last week.
and my blog has been ignored.
all because I raised my white flag and surrendered to the iPhone.
luckily, because my itunes account will not work on this so called
"wonder phone, that can do all"
my first (tech.) love, my mac, is getting a little more attention, until i figure out how to get that working again, so i can get more apps .
until then... the battle continues....

Risen From The Dead

Zippidy do da Zippidy ay my oooooo my what a wonderful day!!
my baby came back!
I'd be singing in the rain, if there was any so i'm
doing a little dance, and makin a little love
(ok enough song references)(for now)
I haven't been able to use my precious for probably 20 fly life times... which is roughly like 20 days.
I was to the point of no return. curled up in a ball in the corner of a dark room rocking back and forth! i didn't know what to do.
not only did i loose my charger, but after receiving a new one, i spilt redbull over my battery! just call me clumsy clara!
but now i am complete again
so.... let the blog madness begin!

are you ready for this (da na na na na)

blog dedicated to Scott Smith, for only he understands(to my knowledge) the every day battle with the sickness of "randomsonginyohead-titus"
we're down with that sickness-- OOOOwaa-aa.

The "Perfect" Sleeper huh?

This is our Brand New KING size Mattress. (not our bedroom though.)
It's name is "the perfect sleeper". When we laid on it to test it out, we fell in love. no other bed after was the same. including our own when we got home. I couldn't sleep that night, all i could do was talk down to my bed, asking it why it couldn't be more like the "perfect sleeper".
but finally after a grueling weekend, anticipating the arrival of our beloved bed, it came. at 2:34pm on a lovely tuesday after noon. the dorkiest, yet cute, Total RM's set it up, then in a awkward flash, were gone, before i could even offer them a drink, or a popsicle (being the only thing we wanna eat around here, lately)
I was so excited to sleep on it. I kept walking past our room to see it, then once we would finally make eye contact i would walk in and casually say, "oh hi, you new around here?" It was like it was the new hot chick in town, and i was a creeper stalking my prey.
Finally, Mike got home, with just as much excitement in his eyes. he quickly showered, then we broke the bed in..... by jumping on it of course. Mike then bumped his head, and now no more monkeys will be jumping on our bed.
In most relationships isn't there a "more mature" one? In our family, there hasn't seemed to be one yet. Mike and I are both like "a kid in a candy store" with about anything really. but a new "Toy", we go Loco!! around 7:18pm Mike opted that we go watch a movie in our new bed... which means he will be asleep around 7:23pm (new bed or not) but im not gunna Not go lay with him, even though i know the very out come. so of course what i had predicted happened. Mike fell asleep. now it was 7:30pm and I was ( no longer smooshed, being we got a King for that very reason) between Mike and Remi, who both give off massive amounts of heat in the night. but luckily, our new mattress has a cooling system right? wrong! well.... it is right that it has it, but wrong that it doesn't work as well as i would've hoped between my 275 pound husband and my 5 pound dog. so, i cracked the window and soon fell asleep. but there was a problem. Im a night owl. always have been always will be. I'll only be a early bird if it's for something fun (clearly a yellow)
so, after about the 100th time of listening to the Arrested Development menu repeat it's self and the non stop orchestra of Mike, Remi, and Oaklee snoring, I gave up, then got up, at 11:48pm. I knew going to bed at 7:30 wasn't going to work out. especially after years of staying up until 3,4,5 then going to school or work at 7 and running off redbull and doing it all over again, night after night, day after day. I was clearly asking to have insomnia! Some how i thought a new bed would help, when all it did was make Mike snore louder. but, if all that means is he is sleeping better and his back and shoulder pains subside due to this new "perfect sleeper", then i will be satisfied and give this bed a perfect review. because my husband, being the amazing man he is, wakes up every day at 4:30, works a long hard 15 hour day, and never complains. he comes home to me late at night, but always with a smile on his face. I couldn't dream up a better man to provide for our family. ("dream" was probably the wrong word to use... being that i don't sleep)
